ProjectQ provides free gender-affirming haircuts, hair color, and wigs to LGBTQIA+ folx dealing with housing insecurities.
ProjectQ provides free haircuts to Queer Youth on the first three Mondays of every month. While our haircuts are free, we ask that our youth attend the accompanying MagiQ Monday workshop in order to receive a free haircut. We like to express to our youth that their attention is more valuable than their dollar.
We prioritize Black and Brown Trans Youth ages 30 and under.
ProjectQ Salon is queer poc owned and operated hair salon. We pride ourselves on being 100% inclusive and a safe space where everyone is welcome; regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, size, ability, and income. Our stylists are highly skilled in curly hair, QPOC/POC hair, short hair, extreme color and gender affirming hair cuts!
